what's best quality or quantity of the links you get? Do I focus on getting a ton of links, any links or focus on getting those links which are more difficult to get but of more quality.

Hi,

Question is good and not new, there's a list of strategies you can follow when getting links. Following these strategies you get the right links. The first free SEO report I have describes how to get the links the right way: 4 Very Important Strategies To Know About Getting Links at: http://www.linkbuilderexpert.com/4-strategies.html

The second report describes the Top 3 Link Building Methods For Maximum ROI at: http://www.linkbuilderexpert.com/top-3-link-building-methods.html especially good if you lack time/money.

You need both quantity and quality.

Hi Karl,

Awesome fourm! My question is: "How do huge SEO companies get backlinks that reach 96000 links, which is impossible to beat if your're a competitor?"
And how can we catch up with them?

Cheers

Hi,

You mean companies doing work on their clients websites and they give them 96,000 backlinks?

You have an example?

If there's a keyword you want to rank well but the #1 ranked website has 96,000 backlinks - first do a quick check using Yahoo Site Explorer: http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com just to see what sort of backlinks they have.

But in that extreme case you can search for other keywords to optimize your site for - at least at first start optimizing for other keywords. Remove the risk therefore at first be finding other keywords.

However if those 96,000 backlinks are just links from useless pages half of them - I mean don't let the number impress you much - once your website grows you can outrank them if the backlinks like I said look just good on the surface...
