Hi,
Just wanted everyone to know something important if you do link exchanges. Something simple: Keep your URL's short. The shorter the URL's the faster they get indexed.
I seen people that have not a single linkspage indexed. They have URL's like:
http://www.domain.com/exchangelinks/ourlinkpartners/ll33.htmlConsider making them shorter it's better! Remove unwanted folders. In the example above you can make it:
http://www.domain.com/ourlinkpartners/ll33.htmlIf you are fed up of doing all that manually, where you have to create the link pages (categories, subcategories) add the links, upload via ftp and all that you know - then get a copy of AutoLinksPro script:
http://www.linkbuilderexpert.com/autolinkspro.html - it allows you to do all that automatically. Yes, automatically and URL's are search engine friendly; the pages will get indexed fast.
That's a super tip because; you may not know this; but people that visit your website at first they might be thinking of exchanging links with you. But then when they see that you don't have a single page of your linkspage indexed they change their mind. It's useless for them to put their link on a page that's never going to get indexed. Because that also means it's never going to be seen by search engines.
